Synopsis:

Set in the slums of Santo Domingo’s La Ciénaga de los Guandules, CARIBBEAN FANTASY is a story of love between a boatman and a Christian woman. This love has been cursed with poverty, reflecting the symptoms of an eroded society.

Johanne Gomez Terrero

A native of the Caribbean Islands,  She’s graduated from the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Banos, Cuba, and received a Master from the School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Catalonia, Spain. Johanne has worked as a producer for more than a decade. Her graduation film was the award-winning short THE MINUTES, THE HOURS, screened at Cannes Film Festival.
