Synopsis:

This documentary focus on  Doctor Mukwege, the winner of the  Sakharov Prize  2014, who  is internationally known as the  man who mendsthousands of women who have been raped during the 20 years of conflicts in the East of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Thierry Michel

Born 1952, in Charleroi, Belgium, he studied at the Institut des Arts et Diffusion in Brussels where he came back to teach cinema. In 1973, he began to work as a filmmaker at the Belgian Television and realized numerous programs all over the world. In ten years, he realized more than seven documentaries on African topics.
