Tamer Habib, Hala Khalil and Khaled Bahgat are among the juries of the Ismailia Festival for Documentary and Short Films

The management of the Ismailia International Festival for Documentary and Short Films, which is held by the National Center for Cinema and headed by the scriptwriter "Mohamed Al-Basousy", announces the selection of three Egyptian creators to participate in jury committees in its 22nd session headed by the film critic Essam Zakaria, which is scheduled to be held from 16 to 22 June in the city of  Ismailia, where the director is headed by d.  Khaled Bahgat, Professor of Directing at the Higher Institute of Cinema, jury of the Student Film Competition, directed many works of art that enriched the cinematic scene.
 
 
 
The director, Hala Khalil, is a member of the jury for the long and short documentaries competition. She is an Egyptian director, producer and author. She studied engineering at the beginning of her life, but soon abandoned it, and went to study at the Higher Institute of Cinema and graduated from it in 1992. She started her life as a program director.  She directed the Nile Drama Channel, then directed the comedy series “Shabab Online.” In 2004 she directed her first movie ever, “The Best Times.” In 2006, she won the Best Director Award at the Cairo Film Festival for her second movie, “Cut and Paste.”  The movie "Nawara" in 2015, which was shown in many film festivals and won many awards in Egypt and abroad
 
As for scriptwriter Tamer Habib, he is a member of the jury of the short feature films competition. He is an Egyptian writer and scriptwriter. He graduated from the Film Institute. His first work was the movie “The Nights of the Nights” in 2003, which achieved great success. After that, his works continued between cinema and television drama, among the most prominent  His works "One Sahih, Sherbet Almonds, Love of Girls; About Love and Passion, Timur and Shafiqa, Do Not Extinguish the Sun... and other works"
 
 
 
 
 
It is noteworthy that the Ismailia Festival is held annually by the National Film Center in Ismailia Governorate, and it is held this year with all preventive and precautionary measures taken to maintain the security and safety of our guests and all participants in the festival... The Ismailia Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the Arab world and the first Arab festival that specializes in films  Documentary and short, where his first courses began in 1991.
