In addition to the one-to-one meetings and sessions with the jury, Co-Platform 2013 hosted a special workshop for 3 projects in post-production in conjunction with Screen Institute Beirut. One of these projects, Guardians of Time Lost (Arak) by Diala Kashmar was completed and premiered at the Dubai International Film Festival. The film received the Special Jury Prize for the Muhr Arab Documentary. Emanuela Zucala's documentary, Just to Let You Know That I'm Alive was also completed after participating in the co-production platform and is ready to start touring festivals. The film that received the American University in Cairo monetary award, Cinema Wahbe by Nidal el Dibs, is currently in post-production. We have received updates from most of the projects and several are in post-production while others are still in production.

The Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts is one of the Arab world's major film festivals, and the first to be exclusively dedicated to documentaries and shorts. The festival was first launched in 1988 under the jurisdiction of the National Cinema Center, to continue afterwards as one of three film festivals coordinated by Egypt's Ministry of Culture.
