Ismailia Film Festival to screen solidarity, dignity films Monday
Egypt, Cairo | Monday - 16 April, 2018:
The Ismailia International Film Festival decided to screen a number of films within the solidarity, dignity films program on Monday.
The program, organized by Social Solidarity Ministry, include a number of films that show the work of the program and aid provided to Egyptians nationwide.
The first film "5%" introduces a number of handicapped youths who participated in a rehabilitation and vocational training program organized by the ministry. The ministry also helped them to find work. The film is directed by Mohannad Diab.
The second film "The Street Doesn't Belong to You" aims at protecting the homeless children after an initiative by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi who called for studying their cases and assigned Tahiya Misr Fund to follow up the initiative and the Social Solidarity Ministry to implement it.
The film tries to uncover the Egyptian talents via developing education and educational institutions. The project cost EGP 114 million until now.
The third film "El Ghaliya" is about a number of women who succeeded in their lives against all odds. The film is also directed by Mohannad Diab.
The fourth film "Simple Dreams" is about a number of cases that benefited from the solidarity and dignity program. The film covers a number of women in various governorates.
The fifth film "Dignity" is also about a number of women who were benefited from the program.
The sixth film "For the furthest point" is about how the Social Solidarity Ministry helped people in need nationwide via its numerous programs.
Finally, the film "Mastora" is about two women who also benefited from the program.
