Ismailia for Records and Shorts honors the pioneer of the art of animation "Fayza Hussein"
The management of the Ismailia International Festival for Documentary and Short Films, which is held by the National Center for Cinema and headed by the scriptwriter "Mohamed Al-Basousy", announces the honoring of the animation artist and pioneer of the art of animation, the late director "Fayza Hussein" in its 22nd session headed by the film critic Essam Zakaria and scheduled to be held from 16 to 22 on June this year in Ismailia
Animation artist and director Fayza Hussein is one of the pioneers in the art of animation in Egypt. She presented dozens of films, programs, series and songs, and won many prizes in local and international festivals, and presented works for international institutions such as "UNESCO - Red Cross - UNICEF" in addition to Egyptian TV, ART and the Authority General Inquiries.
Fayza Hussein is an Egyptian artist who graduated from the College of Fine Arts and was the fourth in the class because of her excellence in drawing. The graduation project was an animated film about racial discrimination in America. She trained on television in the animation department in 1963-1964, and in 1965 she was appointed to the Egyptian television in the department Animation, where her first work was the implementation of films teaching the French language in a cut out manner under the supervision of Raouf Abdel Hamid, and the drawings were sent to television from Paris and she moved the drawings under the camera, and "Fayza Hussein" worked as an assistant for senior animation directors in Egypt, including "Fahmy Abdel Hamid and Samir Mahgoub" And Ahmed Hassan”, and also designed and executed the sequences for “program introductions”, linking paragraphs between television programs, and sequences for many television programs, for example, the “Story and Author” program, the sequences for the movie “The Thief and the Dogs”, the sequences for “Al-Masharati” by the artist Sayed Makawi and an animated episode of the series. Entitled “The Donkey’s Knee Form” - The Lion’s Heart series directed by Alawia Zaki - The series He is in Her Eyes directed by Nour El Demerdash - An Evening of City Story Directed by:- Hassan Abdel Hafez - The One Thousand and One Nights series directed by Jim Al Abdel Hamid - The Fangari Game series directed by Alawia Zaki - The Kafr El-Junn Night Directed by Hassan Hafez - The Five Star Thieves Night Directed: - Ashraf Fahmy, and also executed and directed the songs “Al-Batta Ata” and “Sbua Al-Hafeed” sung by Abdel Moneim Madbouly, Egyptian TV production, song The time produced by Arab TV ART, Seasons of the Year, Traffic, Space No, Family Planning, UNESCO, and songs about the letters “A – B – Tha – H – Sin” and other songs.
Her latest work was Fawazeer "We Are With You" within the framework of the "Children Homeless" campaign launched by the "Long Live Egypt" fund, written by lyric poet Dr. Adel Omar, and general supervision and character designs by artist Fayza Hussein, presented by Dina Farouk, music and music by Dr. Hossam.
