Deadline for submissions extended to December 30.

The Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts (IIFFDS) extended the deadline for film submissions for the 25th edition to December 30.

IIFFDS President film critic Essam Zakaria said the extension is due to the large number of submissions the programming teams received. The films are required to be 2023 productions.

The 25th edition of the festival will be held from February 28 to March 5, 2024.

The IIFFDS, the first festival of its kind in the Arab World launched in 1991, is organized under the auspices of the National Cinema Centre at the Ministry of Culture and is held annually in Ismailia.
