Yassin Tahir Ismailia governor confirmed on Thursday that the executive agencies put all its capabilities to prepare for the establishment of the 19th Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentary, this year and scheduled during the period from 19 to 25 April.

The Ismailia governor held a meeting attended by Mohammed Abdul Salam Sira, general secretary of the province, and film critic Essam Zakarea president of this year's festival, and Wael Mamdouh managing director of the festival, and Maher Kemal, Director General of Cultural Palace of Ismailia, Mr. Fouad, director of tourism management to maintain and a number of executive leadership, to review the arrangements and special equipment to prepare for the start of the 19th Ismailia international documentary & short films, with the participation of 38 countries worldwide.

Ismailia governor stressed the need for early preparation and to take all necessary measures to prepare for this year's festival, and work to provide all the needs of output this year as outstanding befitting behalf of Egypt, issued a decision to form the executive committee of the festival, headed by Secretary of the Assistant Secretary.

He noted film critic Essam Zakarea president of the festival that has been receiving a large number of requests from various countries around the world to participate in this year's festival cycle, next to receive a large number of films that link's 2500 film, which is being sorted and categorized and evaluated knowledge of the specialized committees at the National Center for Cinema.

He explained that the slogan of this year's festival cycle under the name of "Ismailia Film Festival for the people of Ismailia," and will include Honored Artist Hashem copper founder of the festival, and donate it to the spirit of the late artist filmmaker kamel El Qeliobi.
