Egyptian Film Critic & Communication Specialist.
He Was named as Festival Director for Ismailia Film Festival for Documentaries & Shorts immediately after finishing his successful mission as Artistic Director of Luxor Arab & European Film Festival in one of its remarkable editions.
Mohamed Atef is a leading member in the two most important film associations in Egypt: The Egyptian Film Critics' Association (FIPRESCI member).
Member of The Egyptian Association of Film Writers and Critics EAFWC.
Atef has a strong background in Pubic Relations and directing huge events. Also,He is member of The Selection Committees in many film festivals such as: Cairo International Film Festival, Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts, Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries and Cairo International Film Critics' Week.
On regular basis, Atef writes for many Egyptian and Arab publication in Arabic, English and French such as: Al Ahram Hebdo, Al Ahram Online, Al Doha magazine, Cinematograph Magazine, Al Gomhurea and Abyad w Aswad. He also covered and participated in many International Film Festivals around the world.
